

Gordon Charles Lindenthal, age 96, went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, September 3, 2022. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI, the son of Peter and Beulah Lindenthal. Gordon will be lovingly remembered by his children Peter (Maria) Lindenthal, Joan (Steve) Touzel, and Jeffrey (Brenda) Lindenthal; six grandchildren Joe (Erin), Kyle (Kate), Holly (Travis), Katie (Todd), Joshua, Nicholas (Melissa); 11 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Phyllis Mulder; as well as many nieces and extended relatives. Gordon was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Marilyn; parents; siblings Helen, Mary, and Jack.
Gordon was a graduate of Creston High School, U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, attended Davenport College, and after 32 years, retired from Fasteners Inc. He loved to play golf and collect antique cars. As a man of strong faith, he was a longtime member of Grandville United Methodist Church.
Memorial services for Gordon will be held 11 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2022 at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. The family will meet with friends and relatives one hour prior to services Friday. Interment will be in the Grandville Cemetery.
