Grace C. Hawkins

HAWKINS - Mrs. Grace C. Hawkins, age 100, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, September 1, 2006. In 1968, Grace was preceded in death by her first husband, Irving Kryger, and in 1990 her second husband, Clayton Hawkins passed away.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Raymond Murphy of Grand Rapids; son, Jack Kryger also of Grand Rapids; step-sons, Jerry Hawkins of Harrison, MI, Richard Joyce Hawkins, and Raymond Gertrude Hawkins both of Caledonia; 23 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, 1 p.m. at her church, Berean Baptist, 1574 Coit NE, with Rev. Duane Duhon officiating. Interment will be at Fairplains Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may meet her family Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of the service at church. Those unable to attend the visitation or funeral service may sign the family’s Memory Book at www.cookfuneralservices.com.

Contributions in memory of Grace may be made to Berean Baptist Church Missionary Memorial Fund.
