I was very surprised and saddened by the news of Gregs passing. I only new Greg from WMU and found him both animated and friendly. Although I haven't seen him in quite sometime, I will surely miss him. Your are all in our Prayers!!!

I am so honored and privileged to be able to say that Greg Jackson was my friend. We shared so many memories. Every time we were together it's like we both became kids again. The pressures of this "grown up" world would dissappear. He brought me many smiles and hearty laughs when I needed it most. As I reflect, I know that Greg wasn't trying to "drum" up this persona that he was care-free and funny. That was who he was deep down. He naturally made people feel free and light-hearted because that's who he was and that's how he wanted to be. I'm sure that all that knew Greg shared this "good", care-free, be yourself, innocent and kid-like, who cares what the world thinks, feeling when Greg was with them. And I'm also sure that all would agree that the world would be a much better and happier place if we had a heart more like Greg Jackson's. I miss him deeply.

 I was so sad to hear from my sister Laurie Van Tol of Greg's passing. I've spoke with Mom and Brent both in Florida and they both send their condolences and would like to be here with you at this time. Very, very fun filled memories of duck hunting in the Fall and snowmobiling in the Winter with Greg and your family at Dick's cabin! Greg was a smart and talented guy who loved his family and friends. My deepest sympathy to all of you and yours at this time.

Jackson family,
 My deepest regrets to you and your family. 
 Back in SLHS around 1979-80 Greg, Jeff Haas and I had class together in Mr. Switzer's Algebra II class. I would say that is where I got to know him. Ole Mr. Switty, stumped most of us in his class, all but Greg. He seemed to breeze thru it with not to much trouble, I often thought Charlie was helping him thru it, but I think just the whole Jackson family was blessed with academic abilities. We laughed all thru school together. He was always smiling and always quick to give a twist on the situation which was most always on the humorous side. I ran into him in the airport a couple of years ago and the same Greggerboy Jackson was still in tact. We spent an hour plus just talking about old times and laughing. I will always remember him that way. Bringing a smile and a laugh to my face...I am sincerely sorry for your loss. May God bless your hearts with peace.

My prayers are with Greg's entire family and friends during these very sad days. As long as I knew Greg, he always spoke with such love and respect for his entire family. Many prayers from the Twa and Borchers family go out to Greg's parents, siblings, and especially to his wife. We read the paper with disbelief and were so saddened by the news of his death. I have fond memories of Greg from High School and the good natured guy that he was. He will surely be missed...
