Gregory A. Schliewe

Schliewe – Gregory A. Schliewe, age 68 of Wyoming, MI passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016. He was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Janet (Wright) Schliewe.

This wonderful man, father and grandfather will be lovingly remembered by his sons Aaron, Erik (Andrea), Joe Schliewe and Chad Hadersbeck; his former wife Terry Schliewe; granddaughters Addison and Isabelle; his brothers Gary (Regina) Schliewe, Dennis (Erlinda) Schliewe as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.

Gregory served his country in the United States Navy from 1967 to 1970 and worked as a loan officer at Lake Michigan Credit Union for many years.

Funeral service for Greg will be held Friday, June 17, 2016 at 4 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center Chapel, 2067 84th St., Byron Center, MI. The family will meet with friends and relatives from 2 – 4 p.m. on Friday prior to services. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
