Harold John Dekorne

DEKORNE - Mr. Harold John DeKorne, age 79, of Jenison, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2000 at Spectrum Downtown, and went to be with his Lord. Harold was a WWII veteran and participated in the European Theater.

He is survived by his wife Catherine; his children, Bonnie James King, Dale Denise DeKorne, Dan DeKorne, June Bill Dykstra; his sisters and brother, Marian Heydenburg, Esther Bolier and James Ruth DeKorne; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Jessie DeKorne, Betty Peter Dykstra, Margaret Palma, Dennis Janice Palma, Robert Virginia Palma and Richard VanLewen; four grandchildren, Jenny, Tom, John and Max DeKorne.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Church, 777 East Beltline, Grand Rapids, with Pastor Calvin Dobson officiating. Friends and relatives may meet with the family 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the GRANDVILLE CHAPEL of Cook Funeral Home west building, 4235 Prairie St. SW.
