My sympathies to the France Family. Mr. France was a great guy. It doesn't seem that long ago at all that all of us, Rob and friends, were sitting on the "White Wall" on the corner of Lola looking for mischief, and had to scatter fast because Mr. France was coming down to straighten us up and make sure things were alright. He was a great guy and his heart was as big as they get. He dressed up as Santa Clause one year and banged on our front picture window and stuck that big 'ol face right up on the window during a snow storm and waved to my 2 kids who were 6 and 2 at the time...they were so excited to see Santa! He yelled for them to be good and they danced around and nearly fainted. It is a priceless memory of mine. This is the kind of guy Harold was. His son Rob is, and always will be a great friend of mine, we have been to hell and back together. Rob's work ethic, loyalty and integrity is a direct result of Harold caring enough about his family, that he would have it no other way. He will be greatly missed. Goodbye, Harold

I am so sorry for your loss. I've helped Mr. France at the bank for many years. He was special. One of best santa claus' I've ever seen too! He will truly be missed.

So sad to hear of Uncle Harold's departure. He was great fun and told a good story. He was the best Santa that I remember-had me fooled. But I will always remember him for his graceful dancing esp. to "Mack the Knife". It will always be my favoritie memory.

I will miss Uncle Harold, and am so sad to hear the news. I will always remember how kind he was and his dancing at my grandma's 80th birthday party. I was always told that I looked just like him, at least my baby pictures did! He is in a better place, no doubt in my mind, watching over us all!

I would like to Thank everyone that came to pay the family there respect and sent cards of sympathy to the France family for the loss of Harold husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa. It was greatly appreciated and he will be sadly missed. The family would also like the Thank Cooks funeral home for making this a peacefull experience. Dee, Barb, Rob & family, 
 I've know you for my entire life and have so many great memories of growing up on Lola. Many summer nights sitting in the street, playing music loud, getting your Dad very upset with usmainly Gary. How many times did we hear your Dad yelling at us to turn that "junk" down. Staying out late, later than we should but we always having a great time. When we were younger, I remember your Dad giving us rides on the sleigh in the Winter, having Chrismas get-togethers in your basement, and so many other great memories we had. Rob, you were there for me many times, especially during the death of my Grandfather and my Father and I will always be thankful for that. Your like a brother to me and Barb, your like my sister.
