He was preceded in death by his twin brother Harry T. Herrington. Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Ruth and his son Harold D. Herrington. Also seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Harold served in the Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater and he received the Purple Heart.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Cook Memorial Chapel east building, 4235 Prairie St. SW with Rev. Lester Gott officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to service Tuesday.
