Harold Roger Scholma

He was preceded in death by his parents Rhyner and Mary Scholma; infant son, Roger Scholma; and eight brothers and sisters.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 71 years, Ruth Scholma; children Steve (Donna) Scholma, Randy (Jill) Scholma, Tim (Sally) Scholma, Dan (Amy) Scholma; grandchildren Jodi (Kees) VanVugt, Ken (Christine) Scholma, Kimberly (Elie) Atallah, Mark (Kellie) Scholma, Terra (Jeff) Moede, Jamie Scholma (Josh Persenaire), Chad (Amy) Scholma, Dustin (Kylee) Scholma, Samy Jo (Caleb) Wiley, Dylan Scholma, Ethan (Tayla) Scholma, Ellie (Andrew) Neis, Grace Scholma; 18 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Carole Scholten; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation with Hi’s family and friends will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie Street SW, Grandville, Michigan 49418. Celebration of Hi’s life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2026, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m., at Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie Street SW, Grandville, Michigan 49418.
