Dee was born in Chester, PA in 1945. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in Radnor, PA. Dee met the love of her life, Mike, and they married in 1963. They built a beautiful life in the Philadelphia area surrounded by extended family and friends. Mike’s job took them out of state, settling in Jenison in 1980 where they became beloved members of the community. Dee will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her family was a source of pride and she devoted her entire life to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She always treated friends like family. You could always count on seeing her at sporting events, music programs, and theater productions of the grandkids. She was a longtime member of Holy Redeemer Parish, volunteering to help people who were shut-in for many years. Besides her family, she loved to read, enjoyed animals, shopping, and getting her hair done at her beloved Gina’s house. Her listening ear and quick sense of humor are traits those who love her will hold dear. She leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and dedication to all those she selflessly served. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Gretchen Ross for her loving care and friendship.
