Helen Griffith

She was preceded in death by her husband, John A Griffith; brother, Kenneth Mills; one step brother; and one step sister.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Philip Diana Griffith and Steven Laurie Griffith; grandchildren, Elisha, Joshua, Josiah, Noah, Bethany, Rachel, Rebekah, and John; 3 sisters, 6 step brothers and sisters, and 1 half brother; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

After giving their heart to the Lord early in their marriage, John and Helen attended Bethel College to pursue a vocation in ministry. They had pastorates in Mancelona, Alpena, Petoskey, Watertown, Vassar, and Deland. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with their children and grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Cottonwood Heights CRC, 1101 Cypress Dr, Jenison, with Pastor Matthew Palsrok officiating. The family will meet with relatives and friends one hour before the service.
