Henrietta M. Nyenhuis, age 91 of Grandville, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 20, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles and son, Steven. She is survived by her daughter, Patti (Richard) Secord; grandchildren Stephanie (Justin) Vander Veen, Michelle (Adam) Patterson, Charlie Harlett, Alyssa (Sergio) Popescu, Lauren Nyenhuis, Hunter Nyenhuis; great-grandchildren Alaina, Ethan, Olivia Vander Veen and Lily, Bella Popescu; and many extended family and friends.
Henrietta will be remembered for her knitting machines, knitting clubs, and making hats for newborn infants at Butterworth Hospital. She handled the bookkeeping at Nyenhuis Body Shop - working at the family business.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday April 25, 2022 at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, with visitation one hour prior. The family will receive relatives and friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, April 24, at the Cook Memorial Chapel.
