My thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you. It is never easy to say "goodbye" to our loved ones but the comforting message is that Hank knew where he was going. As my husband Terry said before he passed away - "I know where I am going and I can't wait to get there". Hank will be waiting to greet each and every one of you when the time comes. Please try to remember the beautiful times spent together - it helps alot.

I want to thank Carol and the entire Ditmar family for sharing such an wonderful, loving Man with us. Henry's smile would light up the room and take all your cares away and leave you with such a happy feeling in your heart. His hugs could heal any pain you were feeling. I thank God for allowing me to know such a special person.

I had the honor to know Henry for a very short time. Henry and my husband Dave had bible study at Panera's. He alway had a wonderful smile and woud greet everyone with a warm hello. Even though my husband only new Henry for about a year, I believe he looked at him as a father figure. I do know he admired him for his strong belief in God. We are praying for you for strength and peace.

My late grandmother, Joanne Pierce (Ditmar), was Hank's aunt. I am so glad I had a chance to get to know Hank when I was younger. Even though my interactions with him were few in number, I knew he was a man of integrity and that had the joy of the Lord. My dad, Dave Pierce, always spoke so highly of Hank as well. He will be greatly missed and my prayers go out to the entire Ditmar family.

Many wonderful memories of a wonderful, loving man. One especially meaningful memory was during a break of a Gothard seminar in the early 80's. I was struggling with a descision about leaving the steel industry after I had just taken a new position. I walked around public square with Hank and shared with him my thoughts and concerns. He gave godly and insightful counsel that confirmed in my heart that I should make the move. It turned out to be a huge change in my life that has brought many blessings over the years. I look forward to seeing Hank again when we are all reunited.

I worked with Henry at Oliver Products back in the days when I was just starting out after college and I was an Account Manager at Oliver. Henry was busy in those days building up our business with Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY. Over the years Henry and I took a lot of business trips to Kodak and elsewhere together but I particularly remember one trip we took one year in February. Neither of us thought about it at the time but after a day of calling on Kodak, we went to dinner together. It wasn't until we walked into the restaurant that we both realized that it was Valentine's Day as we saw all the happy couples settled in for a nice dinner! We laughed and laughed as we sat down and ordered our dinner looking at all the couples around us! I always had a terrific time working with Henry. I know that he always spoke so highly of his family and the importance they had in his life. I always admired that and am honored to have worked so closely with him. My thoughts and prayers are with the Ditmar family.
