
ZINGER - Henry Zinger, age 81, of Byron Center, went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, March 6, 2008. He is survived by his dear wife of 59 years, Mary Mulder; his daughters, Linda and Gary DeKock of Grand Rapids, Sandra and Nelson Capestany of Caledonia, Maureen and Mark Geerlings of Byron Center, Brenda and Steve VanderArk of Grand Rapids; his grandchildren, Alisun DeKock, Sara Sean Harris, Susan Aaron Bailey, David Ruth Capestany, Joel Jen Geerlings, Emily, Jonathan and Timothy Geerlings, Katherine VanderArk and Christopher VanderArk; great grandchildren, Gabriel, Ainsley and Samuel Harris, Anaiya and Landon Bailey; sister and brothers, Josephine and John Dykstra, Frank and Elaine Zinger, Russell and Anna Zinger; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marian Zinger, Jennie Zinger, Elmer and Ann DeWeerd, Jean and Gordon Weemhof, and Henry and Judi Mulder.
He was a cofounder of Zinger Sheet Metal.
A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, at Second Byron Center Christian Reformed Church. Interment Kent Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to Potter's House Christian School or South Christian High School.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at the Byron Center Chapel of Cook Funeral Home 2067-84th St.
