Isla Cole

Isla was preceded in death by sisters Joan Forney and Marge Ensing; and brothers Donald VerHage and Norman VerHage.

She will be lovingly missed by Donald, her husband of 62 years; sons Randall Cole, Paul (Catherine) Cole, and Daniel (Holly) Cole; Five grandchildren Cassondra, Alexa, Jeff (Kristina) Travis and Jessica; Sisters-in-law Lucille Baer, Ruth Cole, and Carolyn Cole; Niece Sandy Alderink; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family wishes to express special thanks to all the nurses and staff of Laurels of Hudsonville for their loving and compassionate care.

Funeral services will be held at 12 PM on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI. Relatives and friends may meet Isla's family from 6 - 8 PM on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the funeral home (West building), as well as 11 AM - 12 PM prior to the service on Friday at Cook Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Isla to the Alzheimer’s Association.
