Jack John Jr. Vander Honing

Jack is survived by Esther his wife and sweetheart of 61 years; children, Jan Harold Schuiling, Jim Linda Vander Honing, Ruth Patrick Stray, Curt Theresa Vander Honing, and Carol Bill Breen; twelve grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Norma Vander Hooning and Betty Vander Honing; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Jack was preceded in death by his three brothers, Nicholas, Garret and Leonard; five sisters Flora, Martha, Grace, Ida, and Freda; and great grandson Johnathan Schuiling.

A service celebrating Jack’s life will be held 7 p.m. Thursday at the Twelfth Avenue Christian Reformed Church 7551 12th Ave. with Rev. Laryn Zoerhof and Rev. Henry C. Van Wyk officiating.

The family will meet with relatives and friends with viewing at the church Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice or the Twelfth Ave. CRC Missionary Fund.
