I had known Jack for years as he was a chiropractic patient of mine.  I didn't know him outside of the practice, but he had a way of making you feel like we were friends as well.  He was always quick to smile and we shared a laugh every time we saw each other.  He was a good man, a gentleman with great character.  Someone you could count on.  I will miss him and his laughter.  I am a better person to have known him.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his wonderful family and friends. -- James Heath

We are saddened by the loss of Jack from this world. For so many years my husband and I enjoyed Jack's continuing education classes for realtors. We always looked forward to what Jack had to share and his humor made the 6 hour class fun. He also was so generous with his advice and help when needed. May Jack and and his family have the Peace of Jesus around them and may they feel comforted.

We were only exposed to Jack in various Real Estate classes, but what a breath of fresh air.  A true professional with a deep level of knowledge and outstanding communication skills.  A class act and roll model for the rest of us.  A life well lived.

In 1973 I started working at the Tog Shop in Grandville. There was always a group of businessmen that would meet for coffee at a local coffee shop. Jack was part of that group.  He had a great sense of humor and I enjoyed being with him. I am sorry to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

Jack was always highly respected in the real estate industry for his skilled method of instruction and style with humor and book knowledge, 
Many times we would connect at the post office in Grandville while picking up our mail in the AM…. always with a big smile and a genuine greeting!

My sympathies to the Miedema family on Jack's passing. I always enjoyed having Jack as the speaker /educator at various functions and Con Ed. He always made it interesting and viable to today. He will be missed.  jd

He was a fighter and a friend.  Always someone you could call on and just all around a great guy! Praying for peace over your family!

Jack was such a great educator of thousands of real estate professionals. I had the privilege to serve alongside of him on some state committees and was constantly amazed at the depth of his knowledge and his ability to convey it in an understandable way. He will be missed.

I am so sorry about Jack's passing. We met at Calvin College our Freshman year. Had great times cruising in his 67 Mustang. Did he tell you about the time he was late for class, hit the entry ramp on 84th St and by the time he entered 131, he was clocked at 135 mph by the sheriff  at the bottom of the ramp. Did not get a ticket because the sheriff had to go on an emergency call. He later traded the Mustang for a 72 Olds Cutlass. Totally stock. Gold with a black vinyl roof , 350 engine.  No tickets with the Mustang.  but 4 speeding tickets in a month with the Cutlas.
My heart goes out to your family and especially Mrs. Medema. Rest in peace Jack.

My condolences to all the kids.  I worked with, and got to know Jack back in the 80's and my most vivid memory was when I saw all the kids lined up in stairstep order by age, following him out to the car like a line of ducks in the Grandville office parking lot.  

That is the Jack Miedema I will always remember.
