

Jack had worked as a plumber with Peter Somderdyke Plumbing for 43 years. As a member of Robinson Baptist Church, Jack enjoyed serving on the missions committee and following his retirement he was able to travel to several mission fields. Jack was born September 30, 1930 to Lexor and Wilma (Wheeler) Nevins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, infant son, Roger, and son, Bob; grandson, Troy Turner; and great-grandson, Jacob Rozema.
He will be deeply missed by his children, Gloria (Doug) Van Orden, Dan (Marie) Nevins, Renee (Pat) Fortney, Robin (Don) Rozema, Tammi (Paul) Turner, Terri (Dan) Gard, and "adopted daughtera??, Sandy Hamilton; 22 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Bob (Sandra) Nevins, Marilyn Hardy, George (Sue) Nevins, and Carolyn (Harv) Gort; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Peggy Nevins, Glen (Nona) Brown, Rose (John) Smit, and Wayne (Greta) Baker; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 4 PM at Robinson Baptist Church, 12011 120th, Grand Haven, with Pastor Timothy Kitchen officiating. Interment will be at Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet his family Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Cook Funeral Home (west building), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville. Contributions in memory of Jack may be made to Hospice of Holland or Robinson Baptist Church Mission Fund.
