Jaimey Jolie Medendorp

She is survived by her parents Robin (Barry) Knox and Todd (Heidi) Medendorp; siblings Shelby (Tyler) Laarman, Kelly (Katie) Medendorp, Emily Medendorp, Zach Medendorp; grandmother, Sheryl Medendorp; nieces Decklynn and Della Laarman; nephew, Dawson Laarman; and many friends.

Jaimey was a one-of-a-kind girl who could light up any room with her smile and laughter. Although she may have faced more struggles than most, she made up for it by teaching her family and friends what true love, patience, and care were. She taught us that life has more meaning to it, and that at any point, life can shift. She was a jokester and a best friend to many. She was her mother’s greatest joy and her father’s baby girl. She was the glue to one big, crazy family and will be deeply missed. Her family’s hope is to keep her legacy and love alive so that anyone who meets them will know just what kind of special little girl she was! We all love you so deeply, Jaimey Jolie! Fly high, our guardian angel.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Fair Haven Church, 2900 Baldwin St., Hudsonville, MI 49426, with visitation from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to service.

In honor of Jaimey, and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to DeVos Children’s Hospital or Ottawa Area Center School.
