CLEVELAND - James R. Cleveland Jr., age 51 of Jenison, went home to be with his Lord Friday, July 2, 1999. He was preceded in death by his father James R. Cleveland Sr. Surviving are his wife of 31 years Linda; children Joseph and Kelly Cleveland and Melissa and Michael Overway; grandchildren, Miles, Abbygail and Joshua Overway and Tyler Cleveland; mother June Cleveland; sister Barbara Rodger Granger; brother John Carolyn Cleveland; sister Sharon Oros; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert Bowyer, Connie Dick Krzeminski, Ed Julie Bowyer, Terry Sue Bowyer and Martin John Bowyer; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. A special thank you to Dr. Basch, Dr. Sobong and the nursing staff at St. Mary's Hospital. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Jenison Bible Church, 6360 14th Ave. with Rev. Richard J. McCarrell and Rev. Leon Buck officiating. Interment Georgetown Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Grandville Chapel of Cook Funeral Home west building, 4235 Prairie St. SW. Memorial contributions are being made to Jenison Bible Church Youth Ministries.
