James Frederick Frye

He was preceded in death by his parents Bert and Laura Piethman Frye; infant son John Alan; and his brothers, L. Bertice and Richard Frye.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years Della Mae Pearcy Frye; his children and grandchildren, Linda Frye of Ann Arbor, James M. and Julie Frye Jennifer and James Michael of Indianapolis, and David and Sharon Frye Jodi, Alex and Kelynn of Hudsonville.

He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Bernice Howard Hallman of Salt Lake City, Robert Mary Frye of Lee’s Summit, MO, Jane Frye Duddles of Ames, IA, and E. Edgar Frye of Kansas City, KS; sisters-in-law, Ruth Frye of Bamburg, SC and Esther Frye of Xenia, OH; brother-in-law Wesley Doris Pierce of Sugarland, TX, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 12th at Wellspring Community Church 4466 Bauer Rd. in Hudsonville with Pastor Gary Petersen officiating.

Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, May 11th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home 1889 Baldwin St. in Jenison and one hour prior to the service at church.
