James F. Hoover

He was preceded in death by his great granddaughter Rebecca Sweet.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 68 years Lillie Mae Dafoe Hoover; his daughter Barbara Herald Sweet; his grandchildren, Kent Donna Sweet, Deborah Thomas Mitchell, and Kevin Clara Sweet; and his great grandchildren, Jennifer Jack Sutherby, Daniel Mitchell USMC, Beth Mitchell, Matthew Mitchell, Andrew Mitchell, Aaron Mitchell, Mary Ann Sweet, and David Sweet.

The funeral service will be held Thursday 3 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center 2067 - 84th St..

Interment will be at Winchester Cemetery.

The family will meet with relatives and friends on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday one hour prior to the service at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Flint Faith Missionary Church or Brown City Missionary Camp.
