James R. Meyers

MEYERS - James R. Meyers Sr., aged 63, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord Wednesday, July 12, 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents, Steven Sr. and Angeline; brother, Steven Jr. and nephew, Michael.

Surviving are his wife, Jane Cardenas; children, James Meyers, Jr. and Kimberly Jane Meyers; brother, Jack; sister, Sandra Hawke; father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Rosalie Wilcox; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Lupe Mike Krieger, Esiquel Cardenas, Berta Ramirez, Rita Douglas Buck; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Byron Center Chapel of Cook Funeral Home 2067-84th St. with Rev. Rick Oppenhuizen officiating. Interment Burnips Cemetery.

Memorial contributions to Hospice of Michigan.
