Jane Perkins

Jane was preceded in death by her mother, Audrey Nash, her father, Loren Nash, her sister, Wildrene Jahnke, her grandson, Todd Teitsma and ex-husband, Jack Perkins.

She is survived by her daughters Jill (Al) Novak, Jan (Bill) Parmenter, Penni (Don) Teitsma; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Jane was a member of the Grand Rapids Sweet Adelines for many years which allowed her and her daughters to travel to Europe and all over the United States. Music was a big part of her life and we would often hear her singing while working in the kitchen and songs were always part of our road trips.

Jane was a polio survivor and spent many years working with therapists and orthotics at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital. To show her gratitude for all they do she volunteered there in the Medical Records department for many years.
