Bill and Family Jan was a fantastic person and secretary over a period of 40 years. We both started at Price, Heneveld, Cooper in 1960. She had the admiration of all for her great work attitude and skills. I relied heavily on her. Heaven is enriched because of her presence, I believe. She will be greatly missed here on Earth. Dear Bill, Tim, Greg, Kurt, Marcie and families, Although I knew Jan had pancreatic cancer, I wasn't aware of how critically ill she had become until very recently. In the hectic pace of the Thanksgiving weekend, I didn't read the obituaries. A phone message from Ken and Sally alerted me too late for the memorial service that Jan had breathed her last breath on earth and her first in heaven. I am so sad with you that this dear friend and devout woman of God, your precious wife, mom, and grandma is no longer here to share life with you. Yet I rejoice with you that she is fully in the presence of Jesus and free from all that bound her here. Please know that I join the army of those holding you before our loving Heavenly Father and asking for His unexplainable peace to surround you, His mercy and grace to flow down and cover you as you walk through the valley of the shadow of death. I was so touched by the testimony of Jan's life through the photos in the on-line tribute. Many of them brought back sweet memories of the deep family ties forged at Peace Church. I was very sorry to hear of your lost. I did not know Janet but worked with Greg at OVD. If Greg reflectioned his mother in any part then it's very plain that she was a wonderful person. I just wanted to share what a blessing Jan was in my life! I so enjoyed walking and sharing tea with Jan. She had the type of deeper walk with Christ that I wanted. She was such a help to me when we moved and she helped me pack.I loved to hear her tell of her children and grandchildren. We prayed often for you all.
