
Janet did volunteer work with the Multiple Sclerosis Society, and was very active in church functions, especially G.E.M.S.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Elizabeth Schilstra; an uncle Donald Rauch.
Mrs. Lyons is survived by her husband of 25 years Mark; one son Landon Lyons; aunt Janet Rauch; one brother Kenneth Mary Schilstra; one sister Kathy Ron Kettner; two nephews, Jordan Kettner, Keith Schilstra; two nieces, Ashley and Emily Kettner.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. from the First Reformed Church of Byron Center 8425 Byron Center Ave., with Pastor Bruce Kuiper and Pastor Bill Fernhout of Westwood Christian Reformed Church officiating. Entombment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. T
he family will meet with relatives and friends Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home - Byron Center 2067 84th Street.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or Hospice of Michigan.
