He was preceded in death by his parents John and Judith Stark, and his nephews Derek and Darin Stark. He is survived by his children Jaelyn (Duane) Sprague and Kaylee Stark; grandson, Caden Sprague; brother, John (Donna) Stark; sister, Julie (Bo) Stark; stepmother, Joni Stark; stepsiblings Mark Alpher and Mindi VanKampen; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Jason was an avid outdoorsman and motorcycle enthusiast who spent most of his life in Wyoming, MI, but was also able to travel the world while serving his country in the Navy. He enjoyed spending most of his time with his family, friends, and fellow veterans.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, Michigan 49418, followed by a 7 p.m. memorial service also at Cook Memorial Chapel.
A burial will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery in the coming days. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Department of Veteran Affairs may be made in Jason’s honor to help support other veterans in need.
