Jean Mae Boone (Troost)

She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence “Larry” Boone; son Larry J. Boone; parents Lornie and Emma “Grace” Troost; and good friend Carol Scott.

She will be lovingly missed by her children Linda (Lee) Gerard, and Joan (John) Vredevoogd; grandchildren Kelli (Tom) Ditmar, Amy (Lynn) Van Sickle, Jason (Gretchen Holt) Vredevoogd, Katie (Dave Milewski) Gerard, Kristy (Luke) Sandel, and Kerry (Mark) Muldoon; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Jean was a life-long member of Grandville United Methodist Church. The family would like to thank the caregivers of Waldon Woods and Great Lakes Caring.

Visitation with the family will be held 5 - 7 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2017 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie, S.W., Grandville, MI 49418. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017, with visitation one hour prior, at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building). Pastor Ryan Wieland will be officiating. Interment will be at Grandville Cemetery.

In honor of Jean and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Foundation – Child Life Department, 100 Michigan Street NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
