Jean Elaine Collins

COLLINS Jean Elaine Collins, age 86, of Byron Center passed away peacefully on Wednesday 9/3/14. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Collins, parents Frank and Edna Chase; sisters, Lois Towner and Bonnie Chase; brother, Dale Chase; and brother and sister-in-law Robert and Lillian Chase.

She will be sadly missed by her children Marsha (Jack) Schneider and James (Sally) Collins; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris) Wilkie, Angela Brandow, Christina (Kirk) Donovan, Bethany Fair, and Melissa (James) Prazuch; her 12 great-grandchildren, Jesse, Madelynn, Gabrielle, Liam, Kaitlyn, Benjamin, Lauren, Connor, Jasmine, Alexander, Blithe Elaine, and Lily Jean; brother Donald (Ethel) Chase; sisters, Gloria (George) Ewing, and Shirley Silvernail; and many nieces and nephews.

Jean's family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Railside Living Center and Gentiva Hospice for their loving care.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 8, 2014 at 2 PM at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center Chapel, 2067 84th Street SW, Byron Center, with visitation from 2-4 PM on Sunday.
