Thinking of Jean always makes me smile.  She brought such joy and laughter wherever she was.  She also made fantastic and famous taco salad.  I am so sorry for your loss and pray that the amazing memories you have will give you solace as you grieve.  Peace be with you as I know Jean has found hers.

John, Matt, Rose and Peruchietti/Olszewski Families,

We are deeply saddened and grieving for our dear niece, Jean Ellen.  Jean was a loving, caring, generous and faith filled person.  We remember with deep appreciation how she always  appeared with a smile on her face to help the Gorney Family face our trials and adversities. With heavy hearts, we are going to miss her, but cherish her in our many memories.  She was a special gift to many.

I worked at Spartan Stores in Byron Center for almost twenty years.  Jean was my Kraft salesperson.  
Our relationship was often tough due to the typical vendor and manufacturer squabbling.  We both debated (stupid looking back) for our respective companies.
Yet we were always honest with each other, fought a bit, yet respected our corporate responsibilities.  When you dealt with a person like Jean, it wasn’t like dealing with “Kraft”, you were dealing with a lovely woman who just wanted to do her job just as I tried to do mine.  We had some difficult times, due not to us, but to a stupid business model on both sides.  Yet we got through it though and always stayed friends.  She cared.
She was a class act and a lovely woman.  
Bless you Jean.  See you on the other side.  We’ll debate then!

Dear John and Family,

Although Jean and I met just a few times, I felt an almost immediate attraction to her warm and loving personality.--- a beautiful person both in and outside.

Jean was so smart and hard working and when she spoke you could hear joy in her voice.  She cared so deeply for her family and friends. Our last text messages were "Proud Grandma Brags" and pictures of her beautiful grandchildren Averie, Catalyna & Emery.  She was so excited for June to come in hopes of being able to see them again!   Jean's friendship was a true gift.  She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.  My deepest sympathies go out to John and her entire family.

John, Matt and all of the family, we send our sympathy.  She was great at everything she did.  Such a beautiful soul!  Heaven has gained one of the best ever!
