Jeanne Sue Mockerman (Sumner)

MOCKERMAN (SUMNER) Jeanne Sue Mockerman, age 63, passed to her next life on July 22, 2015, after a 39 year battle with MS. She was lovingly cared for by the staff of Brookcrest Nursing Home for the last 14 years of her life. Her parents George and Ann Sumner and in-laws, Ted and Jane Mockerman preceded Jeanne in death.

She is survived by her husband, George Mockerman; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Kelly Mockerman; and her grandsons, Ethan and Jacob. She also leaves behind her brother and sister-in-law, George and Sue Sumner; and her nephew, Eric and niece, Tanya.

Memorial services will be held 2 PM Monday, July 27, 2015, at Cook Memorial Chapel in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW (east building), with visitation prior to the service at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Brookcrest Nursing Home or MS Society. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guestbook online at www.cookcares.com.
