He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Muriel Lamer; children Valerie Lamer, Vaughn Lamer, and Sherwyn (Melanie) Lamer; granddaughter Elliana Lamer; siblings Barbara Woodruff, Anna Bruischart, John (Garetta) Lamer, Linda (Jim) Glockzin, Ben (Deb) Lamer, and Deb (Dan) Van Malsen; in-laws Charlene (Keith) VanHaitsma, Verla (Henry) Zuiderveen, and Del (Vicki) Dornbos.

Visitation with the family will be held 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M., Thursday, August 15, 2013, at Cook Funeral Home - 2067 84th Street, S.W., Byron Center. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2013 at Cutlerville East Christian Reformed Church - 501 68th Street, S.E., Grand Rapids with Rev. Bill Renkema officiating.
