Joan Elizabeth Takas, age 88, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of selflessness and enduring love. Joan spent her life demonstrating that the greatest gift one can give is the care of her family.
At the center of Joan's world was her devoted husband, Gerald Takas. Theirs was a rare and beautiful love story, spanning 69 years of marriage. Joan's greatest pride and joy was her family: six children, 12 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
