Joann Elaine Baragar

Joann Baragar, age 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, July 18, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Baragar. She is survived by her children Lynn (Roger) Harris and Mark (Joni) Baragar; grandchildren Sam (Renee) Harris, Rachel Harris (Tyler Collins), Caleb (Brianna) Baragar, and Noah Baragar; great-grandchildren Raiden, Athena, Dylan, and Ares.

Joann loved Lake Michigan and the beautiful sandy beaches along the Muskegon Lake shore. She also enjoyed vacations on Sanibel Island where she loved to go shelling with friends. She was blessed to have such close, lifelong friendships!

She loved her children and treasured celebrating Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Fourth of July holidays with all of the family! She treasured and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and supported them with her love and presence.

A celebration of life open house will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024. The time will be from 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., with a time to share memories and moments with family and friends from 11:40 a.m. - 12:10 p.m. at Grand Ravines Lodge, 9920 42nd Ave., Jenison, MI 49428 (Please use Google maps for optimum directions). A casual light lunch will be available during the open house. In lieu of flowers, we would be honored if you would consider remembering Joann and her love of her many pets and grand-pets with donations to Noah Project animal shelter in Muskegon (https:www.noahprojectmuskegon.org).
