Joann DeBoer

DEBOER (VanApeldoorn) - Joann DeBoer, age 84, of Byron Center, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 9, 2012. She was preceded in death by husband, Arthur DeBoer, daughter, Christine Stepanek, and sister, Harmina VanEck. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, William (Terri) DeBoer; son-in-law, Gregory Stepanek; grandchildren, Jacob (Taylor) DeBoer, Jacqueline DeBoer, Jennifer DeBoer, Thomas and Michael Stepanek; and sister Cora VanEck. Her family would like to give a special thank you to the caregivers at Railside Living Center and Faith Hospice for the wonderful care given to their mother.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 am Friday at the Byron Center First Christian Reformed Church, 2450 85th St SW with Rev. Tom Groelsema officiating. Relatives and friends may meet her family Thursday from 4-7 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, 2067 - 84th SW, Byron Center.
