HAYES - Joe A. Hayes, age 79, of Grandville, went HOME to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 18, 2014. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Peggy Hayes; children, Kimberly (Allen) Vander Molen, Sandra (Robert) VanVels, Brian (Susan) Hayes, Gregory (fiancAC., Liz Bishop) Hayes, and Daniel (Carlee) Hayes; adored grandchildren, Hannah and Jordan VanVels, Savannah Hayes and Kylon Hayes; siblings, Jerry (Marilyn) Hayes, Judy (Neil) Paauwe, and Jay Hayes; father-in-law, Harry Bosscher; inlaws, Bette and Bob Rabe, Jan Bosscher, Tom and Sheila Bosscher, Bev and Bob Papke, Joy and Mark Jurries, Gail and Aaron Besemer; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Joe's life will be held 2 pm Monday at the Woodhaven Reformed Church (Woodshed) with Pastor Steve Petroelje officiating. Interment will be at Grandville Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Sunday from 5 - 8 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville (West Building) and one hour prior to the service at the church.

The family would like to thank Allendale Christian Nursing Home for their loving care of Joe and his family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Allendale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center or Hope Network - Side by Side Adult Day Care program.
