John Cornelius Koster

KOSTER Mr. John C. Koster, age 91, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, November 14, 2005. John had retired from GM after 40 years of service. A loving husband, father, grandfather and GG, John was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Deemter and his grandson, Dann Deemter. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 66 years, Winnifred; son John “Jack” and Jane Koster of Hudsonville; grandchildren, Dawn and Paul Meyering of Middleville and their children, Gunnar, Mackenzie, Holden; Donn and Shelley Deemter of Allendale and their children, Madelyn, Brooklyn and Mitchell; Kevin and Christy Koster of TN and their daughter Kaitlin; and Kristin and Bryant Huyser of Jenison and their children, Elijah, Joseph; sister, Marian Koster of Lansing; sister-in-law, Albertha Breen of Wyoming; and many nieces and nephews including special niece, Donna Earle. Funeral services will be held Friday, 11 am at the Cook Memorial Chapel east building, 4235 Prairie SW, with Rev. Dewey Moore and Rev. John DuBois officiating. Interment will be at Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet John’s family Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Cook Funeral Home west building.
