John Donald Phillips

Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by one brother Ben Phillips. John is survived by his wife of 51 years, Arlene; two daughters, Rosemary Bill Mroz, Susan Mark Good; one son John Jr. Chris Phillips; grandchildren, Jennifer Calvin Merritt, Julie, John, Madeline, Alexander, Allison, Stacey and Mason. Also surviving are two sisters, Lorraine Emmett Bassett, Marilyn Hubbard; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Stan Kuklewski, Kathleen Kierepka; one brother-in-law, Robert Laurna Kierepka; and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 1 p.m. from St. Pius X Catholic Church with Fr. George Darling Celebrant. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home, 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to service. A Vigil Service will be held Friday 8:30 p.m. from the funeral home.
