John H. Post

John H. Post, age 84, of Grandville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 25, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cathaline Post DeFouw. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Thomas Melva Post, Cindy Tim Hibma, and Eileen Tim VerStrate; grandchildren, Mirtha, David Jamie, Joshua Amy, Joseph Zoe, Rachael, Eric Sara, Angela Geovanny, Brian Becky, Nathan fiancé Becky, Casey, Mitchell, Lydia and Paul; 8 great- grandchildren; and his relatives and friends.

John was a route salesman for Oven Fresh Bakery for 35 years and in his retirement he delivered for Sunnyslope Floral, for 17 years.

The funeral service will be held 11 am Monday at Trinity Christian Reformed Church, O-7309 Kenowa, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Gerry Koning will be officiating. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Sunday from 2 to 5 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville West Building. Memorial contributions may be made to C.R.W.R.C.
