John Meade Richardson, Jr. age 63, passed away, Tuesday, November 29, 2011. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Jarvis (Skiver). John will be lovingly remembered by his son, Pete (Tonia) Richardson; his dad, Earl Jarvis; his sister, Johnel (Roger) Buckingham; his brothers, David Jarvis, Jon Jarvis; his nephews and their spouses; and his great niece and nephews.
John loved the outdoors and his hobbies reflected that. He enjoyed birding, fishing and hunting. Walks with his four-legged best friend, Josh, were an important part of every day. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as an electrician for General Motors for 30 years. John also worked as a Park Monitor for Ottawa County Parks and Recreation. A private gathering for the family will be held at a later date. In honor of John, contributions may be made to Ottawa County Parks and Recreation.
