
Mrs. Bouwman enjoyed spending time with family, gardening and restoring the family’s Victorian home.
Joi was preceded in death by her Grandma White. She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Mark; three sons, Tim, Bob, Mike; daughter Robyn; parents Pat and Gerald Bartlett. Also surviving are two sisters, Sue Jerry Mick, Deb Bob Gallup; two brothers, Jim Joy Bartlett, Thomas Bartlett; special friend Marcia; two brothers-in-law, John Bouwman, Joel Jackie Bouwman; one sister-in-law Paula Bouwman; parents-in-law Jack and Sharon Bouwman; grand mother-in-law Elizabeth Door; many nieces and nephews; along with several friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday 10 a.m. from Friendship Christian Reformed Church, 190 100th St. SE, Byron Center with Pastor Calvin Compagner officiating. The family will meet with relatives and friends Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center. Interment Hooker Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of Allegan County, 530 Linn St. Suite A, Allegan, MI 49010 or the education Fund for the Bouwman Children.
