Our family is so saddened by the unexpected, devasting loss of Jono. It seems so unfair that God would take him away so soon. He is an incredible young man and it is comforting to know that he is still giving of himself even though he isn't physically among us because in everything he did he gave 100% without hesitation. Jono was always full of energy and his zest for life was infectious. He was a true friend and always there for his friends and family. We are so blessed to have him in our lives. I just heard about what happened to you and I am so very sorry. I wish I had better words to tell you how it is so unfair or life is too short- but I don't. Jono and Tommy are now on Gods football team and Andrea is thier cheerleader. Grandpa Stariha is in the stands telling them how to do it. Susan, Patty, Marty I have never felt so helpless. This is the time when prayers are constant yet somehow don't seem emough. During this time I have called and talked with Marty. I always missed being able to talk with you. You once asked me to pray for a man you knew of who needed strength and courage. You and yours are now the ones who will have perpetual prayer partners. I was heartbroken to find out about Jono's passing. My prayers go out to your family during this time. I worked as an aide in Jono's fifth grade classroom and remember him with fondness. He was the kind of kid who everyone wanted to be friends with and he was a friend to everyone. I remember his fun-loving, caring spirit. He had the ability to make everyone around him smile. He touched so many lives and will be remembered by all who knew him.

Dear Family, This gesture of sympathy also comes from Mr. Larry Bowhuis. To place us, we were with Larry's wife in ICU Spectrum Butterworth. Your family FED us many many times. Jono's father may remember my telling him I am a chaplain. I left it there just saying I would pray for the family as I sat with Mr. Bowhuis' wife. Thank you for thinking of others while God was turning your world up side down in such a cruel way. He does that - we've been through it as well. Then, we find later that, yes God ALLOWED this to happen to fulfill His plan not only in your lives, but the lives of the individials that did work of the devil. God always wins the victory. Hang in there - you are loved by more people than you can count or remember. Larry's wife is out of ICU, in Kent Community, eating and has a voice now. She as a very long road to go.
