Joseph Craig Newhof, age 25, much loved son, brother, uncle and cousin, went from this life into the arms of Jesus, on Friday, December 2, 2016. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Craig and Sue Newhof; his brother, Ted Newhof and his daughter Taylor; his sister, Mattie and Jason Riley and their son, Theo; his sister, Leah and Justin Haan; his grandmother, Joyce Seif; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whom he loved deeply.
Joe graduated from South Christian High School in 2009, attended Olivet College, and worked for Newhof Construction. He will be forever loved and missed.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Sunday, December 4, and from 4 to 7 PM Monday, December 5, at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 - 84th St. SW. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, December 6, at Corinth Reformed Church, 129 – 100th St. SE. Rev. Don Porter and Dean Vander Mey will officiate. In honor of Joe, contributions may be made in lieu of flowers, to Set Free Ministries or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
