Josephine Ann Corey

Josephine Ann Corey (JoAnn), age 66 of Grandville, MI, passed away August 12, 2024, surrounded by her family. Josephine was a bright light to all who knew her. She had the best sense of humor - always cracking jokes - and loved to make you laugh. She loved to work and spent her life serving others. People gravitated to her bubbly, outgoing personality. She loved people and went out of her way to build relationships with everyone she met or worked with. Her gift was always remembering everything about you! She was always there when you needed her. She loved taking care of her people and always had a special way of making you feel calm, safe, and loved.

Josephine will be missed by the love of her life, her husband of 48 years, Thomas Corey; as well as her children Brandon (Julie) Corey, Renee Berkley, Tara (Eric) Eparvier, and Ryan Corey. She was so loved by her ten grandchildren whom she adored Kenzie, Morgan, Caden, Christian, Addy, Rylynn, Michael, Cameron, Parker, Jaxon; and two great-granddaughters Ava and Ivy. She will also be missed by her father and mother, Carl and Barbara Einig; sisters Terri (Chuck) Corey, Debra (Rich) Lamb; and brother, Steve (Kim) Einig; in-laws Gerry (Rosie) Corey, Jackie Casey, Diane Corey; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. Joann was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Charles Corey; mother-in-law, Corrine Corey; and brother-in-law, David Corey.
