Joyce Joan Kunde

Joyce was born July 14, 1933 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Roy and Nina Franson. Joyce married Paul Kunde Sr. on October 14, 1967 in Grand Rapids.

She is survived by her husband, Paul; their son, Paul Jr. and his wife Michelle; four grandchildren Rylee, Ryan, Braydon, and Paul; two step-grandchildren Dan and Katie; and her sisters Virginia Smith and Dorothy Norgrove.

For those that knew Joyce, you knew her as a kind and considerate person who always put others in front of herself. She will be missed by all who knew her, but we’re at peace knowing she’s in a better place now, following her courageous battle with Alzheimer’s.

Visitation will be held from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on November 14, at Hudsonville Congregational United Church of Christ, 4950 - 32nd Ave., Hudsonville, MI 49426 with visitation from 10 - 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions be made to Emmanuel Hospice.
