Both Judy and Paul were a Godsend to this community. They helped so many along their path, myself included. I will never forget them. My prayers and condolences to the entire family.

To the Land family, Sandy & I will never forget your wonderful parents and their generosity to all and especially their service to Christ. Judy is now back in your Dads arms while under the precious care of our Lord. Praying for a “peace that passéth all understanding” for you all.

We loved playing golf with Judy and Paul.  It was a great memory and although we haven't seen her since she moved back to GrandRapids from Holland, she will always be with us.  Jessie and Ron Dalman

It is with a heavy heart I send our sympathy and prayers to you and the family. I am so thankful to have been the adopted brother who was one of many people that Judy and Paul adopted into their lives over the years. I am so thankful for all they have done for me and taught me over the years. When our boys were young they always referred to your parents as Grandpa Paul and Grandma Judy and was no question of why they were their grandparents. 
Their love for God and their mission to make the world a better place and to show the love of God to those in need was a joy to be part of. The orphanages and schools that were started by them and never wanting to be rewarded for doing what God had called them to do was a powerful lesson I hold on to. Their willingness to take me into their home and the nights of going out to eat and driving by property and equipment and Judy graciously accepting those nights because it was time that Paul and Judy and their third wheel could spend together.
Judy was very excited to see Mary and I be united in marriage and was very much my mother in the process. Making sure I called and treated Mary right while we were dating.  
I will share a story of how Judy trusted me with watching over the first lake house in Holland one winter. I took my responsibility very serious. I would go and check to make sure that everything was ok and water the plants because Judy had a green thumb. After a couple of times of watering the plants I realized by the puddle on the floor that I was watering some of the artificial plants. I don't know if mom ever knew that. 
I am saddened that I will not be able to attend the services for your mother but know that we loved her and are there in spirit. Thanks again for sharing your mother with me and with the world.
We know that Paul and Judy are united again in heaven and that one day we will see them again.

Sandra and Mark, Mary and Roger and the rest of the family,

I send my deepest sympathy to you as you walk this journey... I know how close you were and the love and friendship you shared with your mom; and I know this is a staggering loss.  Mom is smiling -- she met Jesus!!  But you are having to say goodbye, and that hurts. 
I am thankful for the time I shared with Judy. She was a precious friend. My memories with her and with the 3 of us, Sandra, whether white-knuckling it on the Mackinac Island ferry or playing a great game of cards -- which she always won, or working on puzzles, having lunch and deep discussions, or silly laughing times, pointing out exotic cars (usually red), shopping at the PGA resort and posing at the Golden Bear at her insistance that I be an honorary golf member...all these memories will remain a treasure in my heart for always. She found joy in the simplest things as well: her yellow lilies in vases all around and flower gardens that she enjoyed. (And I can't imagine the Holiday Pops without her). She was a sweetheart and a dear friend as she walked beside me in my crazy journey. She was silly and competitive and lovely and smart, and humble and kind and Godly. She was one of a kind.
I loved her and will miss her deeply. And I pray for God's healing love to continue to surround you and your family.
