Julia Renee Van Van Horn

VAN HORN (FOUTS) Julia Renee Van Horn, age 51, passed away, Saturday, September 19, 2015, shortly after her diagnosis with HLH, a rare immune disorder. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 34 years, Robert Van Horn, her children, Nicholas (Sarah) Van Horn, Christopher (Sarah) Van Horn, Corin (Joel) Van Horn; her beloved grandsons, Harrison Van Horn and Mason Van Horn; her parents, Bob and Kieren Fouts; her siblings, Russel Fouts, Dan (Jane) Fouts, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Julia was a social butterfly whose vivacious personality brightened every room she entered and brought joy to all those around her. She loved art, theatre and her work as an interior designer. Julia was a graduate of Jenison High School and studied interior design at Kendall College. She was a fierce supporter of her kids, family and friends and cherished her grandkids. A time for relatives and friends to visit with Julia's family will be held from 12 to 3 PM Wednesday, immediately followed by a time of sharing, led by her son, Nic, at Cook Memorial Chapel in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW (east building). In honor of Julia, contributions may be made to the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts or the Local First Educational Foundation.
