My heart aches for all of you. So hard to find words beyond that. I didn't know Kasey well, but I do know that he is gone way too soon. I know that God's ways are higher than ours, but at times like this, I really find myself wanting to ask Him to reconsider. I pray that you will all hold on to the truth that we do not grieve as those who have no hope...

I still remember Kasey's big eyes and wide smile as I met him for the first time in 1st grade art class. He was a pistol, but he had a tender heart and teddy bear hugability. It was entertaining, watching him grow through the years. Whether at CCES or CCMS, I always got a "How're ya, Mrs. K" from him in the hallway. And how he would dream out loud! "I'm gonna be a big rap star", or "I'm a gonna have a whole big house to myself someday". I guess he finally did make it to God's "Big House" in Heaven. I hope God is enjoying Kasey singing His gangster praises up there, too! It was a blessing to have known him and to have been a small part of his world. May God rain down His peace on you all. Kasey will be remembered for his big smile and big heart! I was honored when he invited me to his graduation Open House last June and then was greeted with his huge smile and a brand new haircut! We had a good laugh over that one! God wanted Kasey to be with Him now and even though we grieve, we are blessed with the knowledge and praise God that Kasey is in heaven! We will always remember Kasey . He would come into our home with a smiling face and a polite greeting of hi Mr. B , Mrs. B. His love of athletics, his friendship with our kids. kasey gill was my best friend my other half and that will never change I know you have always wanted the best for me and supported me in every single thing I wanted to do he would always say go for it sis you got it! but me kasey and kurtis and Julian have excellent memories together rather it was dancing singing play fighting we all enjoyed each others company through the good and the bad I just wasn't ready for this not at all my world crushed me and kasey used to do everything together eat snacks talk about life fight yell at each other laugh together dance together everything you name it he would always make his famous rice with cheese on top it was delicious but never could I imagine that mother's day night it would be my last kiss goodbye and my last I love you to my partner in crime the one that would always tell me right from wrong the emptiness I feel in my heart will remain my life will never be the same I lost a great big chunk of my heart and I can not accept the fact im torn and devastated but you will forever be missed and loved I just wish I could see your face one last time and that great big smile but you will forever be loved by your little sis love you big bro I know your smiling down on me saying everything is ok! I remember talks with Susan about his love for music and how he was gonna make it big "one day" Kasey made it big alright, BIG before we did - right into Heavens gate. I'm sure his entrance was heard, he had his rap all made up, people flocked to see what all this noise was about...boy does he have an audience up there. God called him home, he is at peace and free from the pain. Kasey you finally made it big, may all your dreams come true...save a show for us when we get there, and make sure Susan has front seats! kasey always made someone mad no matter how mad or serious he was his whole facial expression just made you laugh and he had a great sense of humor even those days in the hospital that he was slowly fading away he still had a sense of humor through it all when his friends came to visit him! but I can feel your presence kasey your probably touching my shoulder right now smiling at me but one day up there with you love you big bro kasey tizzy gill!!! we share great memories together! kasey was a great grandson. we spent hours together for the short time we had together.we ate our snickers and drank pepsi. we talked about his brothers and his sister. kasey was loved by every one. i will remeber him the most,when he was a baby, he smiled a lot. he was so sick ,he didn,t let that stop him for thinking of others. he let us know how much he loved us .kasey i will miss you .

Susan, Ellery, and the rest of the family, I am so saddened to hear of Kasey's passing. Having been out of the Calvin Christian loop for a few years now, I was not even aware of his illness. He will always hold a special place in my heart. I loved watching him grow and mature both academically and in Christ throughout his years at Calvin Christian Elementary. He would flash that smile and the whole room would light up. I was privileged to know him. I'll be holding you and all of those who loved Kasey in my prayers.
