Katherine P. Gage

Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Leon; one son, Kenneth; two brothers, John and Arnold DeLaat; her parents, Cornelius and Martina DeLaat; one sister-in-law, Mary DeLaat.

Mrs. Gage is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Vonnie Schoonmaker of Sparta; one granddaughter, Kathy Lloyd Shelden; two grandsons, Tim and Von Schoonmaker; one great grandson, Dennis Denise Shelden; two great granddaughters, Teresa and Carrie Shelden; one great-great granddaughter, Chelsea; Shelden; one sister, Adreana Ahlberg of Wyoming; and many, many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 8 from the Cook Memorial Chapel east building 4235 Prairie St. in Grandville, with Mr. Tom Jurek officiating.

Interment will be in Grandville Cemetery.

The family will meet with relatives and friends on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home west building.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
