Just wanted to let you know that I am praying for you and your family Barry. I know that you and Kathy had a strong faith and that she is now resting in Jesus's arms pain free.

Barry I'd like to send you a book that my cousin wrote when he lost his wife. She was 38 and died from cancer. He wrote it as a healing process for him.

If you would like a copy you can email me at kshorvath@gmail.com. I'm no longer on Facebook.

Barry, Jared, Tatje and Justin,

We are very sorry for Kathy’s loss. She was a good neighbor, willing to water our plants when we were on vacation. I met her at church as a GEMS counselor, and then we became neighbors. She was so sweet (and Barry too) to our children. I know she is now free of her ailments. Her race is done and she is face to face with her Savior.

Due to COVID and work schedules we will be with you in Spirit, but will catch up with Barry in the days to come. We send you a virtual hug!

We are so sorry for the passing of Kathy. After a long battle of cancer she is now in the arms of Jesus, no more pain & suffering.
We remember Kathy as our kids' (Stephanie & Kenny) JCS school bus driver for many years. She loved all the kids on her bus and the kids loved her. She will be deeply missed.

Barry and family,
So very sorry to hear of the passing of Kathy. I remember her to be a lady of strength, faith and of grace. We have lost many from our fire department family and extended family from the days I served . We may not see all of you but your pain is felt . May god give strength each day and please know that others care! 🙏🏻 Mike and Kim Marlowe

Kathy's generosity and prayers made a great impact on my life. Though we never met, her support was incredibly sweet to me as I served in missions. Her heart was big and her actions were Christ-like. My prayers are with her family today. May God bring you all kind peace in this time.

I met Kathy while helping in a Zumbathon for her & Barry. I was humbled & honored to give energy towards renewed strength & healing & watched how prayer & love surrounded them with hope that day.

Barry and family, I offer my tender, heartfelt sympathy, and pledge continued prayers.
Remembering Kathy as a warrior who wore her disease with dignity. As one who, when leaving messages to update her prayer village, more often than not left her readers lifted to a higher level of spiritual understanding. Remembering a faithful witness, to her Savior, to her sure and solid hope, and to her dedication and love for her family. I am changed for the better having known, and am challenged to emulate Kathy's testimony in daily life as well as in the deep valley experiences in life.
You have left an impact filled testimony my sweet friend!

So sorry for your loss. Kathy sure fought her cancer for a very long time. She was always so up beat and had a very positive attitude! May God comfort you and your family and give you comfort in the days to come. Sorry, but because of Covid we will be with you in our thoughts and prayers but we do not feel comfortable attending the visitation or service.
