

He graduated from South High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean War in Japan. After the war, Casey had a 38 year career with the Grand Rapids Fire Department. At the pinnacle of his career as a firefighter, it was his pride and joy to be the driver of the newest 'Quint' combination fire truck. After retirement, he filled his time as a volunteer for the Jenison School Board and the Band Boosters.
Casey enjoyed extensive traveling with his beloved wife of nearly 65 years, Jean. He is also survived by children Sandra Kae Bohnstengel, Dennis Keith (Brenda) Bonn, Michael Brian (Karen) Bonn; grandchildren Casey Bonn, Alexander Bonn, Trevor Bonn; his sister, Noralyn (Marvin) Gillette and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Casey will be missed by all.
Visitation with the family will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie St., S.W., Grandville, MI 49418 with a Memorial Service following at 11 a.m.
